The first time I came across Young- Sung Kim’s paintings, I took a deep breath with eyes wide open to determine if I was looking at a real staff or a picture.

Glued to his Instagram page for minutes, I scrolled through his unbelievable hyperrealism paintings in amazement.

Young- Sung Kim

Kim’s photorealism paintings are not for the poor as his prices range from the least amount of about $20,000 to as high as $110,000 and above. A hyperrealism painting like this will involve time, resources and energy.

Kim is a South Korean ice sledge hockey player who played in the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. The 36 years old hyperrealism artist mostly paints animals that look too real to be true.
