ACCRA, Ghana – Friday, June 5, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/—Ex-President John Dramani Mahama has started a weekly digital conversation with Ghanaians. The online interaction forum, “Let’s Talk!” is the first of its kind in Ghana where an Ex-president interacts with the masses online.

He announces that it is the widest digital conversation Ghana has ever seen. According to the former President, its time to hear each other.

Thousands of people have already sent their applications online via https://www.johnmahama.org/lets-talk to have the opportunity to chat with the Ex-president.

He wrote, “I have started reaching out and interacting with many of you who shared ideas, asked questions, analysed or critiqued my policy presentations and messages.”

A lucky lady, Deborah Laryea was chosen and she had a conversation with Mr Mahama on zoom chat. The conversation was lively and Deborah was extremely excited after her moment online. Mr Mahama advises her to take care of her mother and also protect herself against covid-19.

Mr Mahama stated that democracy has always been and will always be about every one of us– about our hopes and dreams, about our ideas, about our voices.

“This is a great initiative Your Excellency..may your desire back to the flagstaff house come December 7, come true for you Sir. Happy weekend.” A fan wrote on Facebook.

Another Facebook user also wrote opposing Mr Mahama’s initiative. “When they want the power to rule human they can go to even every village to just convince the people that they are good but when they get power all you won’t even see their dogs mpo at ur roadside… Ghanaians should be wise enough.”
