Accra, Ghana- Wednesday, July 8, 2020,/ https://africanpostonline.com/ A letter from the office of the Judicial Secretary released on 7th July indicates that the Chief Justice of Ghana, Kwasi Anin Yeboah has gone into a mandatory 14–day self-isolation on doctors advice.
“Respectfully, His Lordship the Chief Justice has from 6th July 2020, on the advice of his doctors, embarked on a fourteen (14) day self-isolation in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.” The statement signed by the Judicial Secretay, Ms Pamela Cynthia Addo.
However, the Chief Justice will be working from his official residence at Cantonments in Accra.
His Lordship Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah is the 14th Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana.
In December 2019, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo nominated Justice Anin-Yeboah as the Chief Justice of Ghana. He replaced Sophia Akuffo as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
