The Ghana Football Association Ethics Committee has decided on Thursday as the day to sit and discuss what should be done in relations to the allegation that the fixture between Wa Suntaa and Unity FC has been manipulated.

The investigation into the matter is still ongoing to uncover the truth in the report. President of Unity FC, Richmond Osei and Referee Daniel Kwame Nisah are expected to appear before the Committee for the adjudication of this case.

The Ethics Committee began the investigation into the alleged match manipulation in March of this year, after they had received the report from an Integrity Officer for the GFA. It was reported that an act occurred before the Division One League Matchday 8 between Wa Suntaa and Unity FC, allegedly.

Mr Osei and Referee Daniel have both been extended an invitation to the sitting together with Forster Bastious and Kingsley Asare, both who were named Referee and Assistant Referee for the match in question respectively.

The Committee will adjudicate the case involving Coach Ntow Gyan for the alleged comments that were deemed to be a breach against Article 11(2)(a), (b) and (d) of the Disciplinary Code (2019) of the Ghana Football Association.

According to the GFA, both Coaches have apologised for their actions and comments in Statements of Defence and have withdrawn their comments as a sign of respect for the authority of the GFA. The Ethics Committee will also slit for more cases but not on later dates to be communicated.

In the subsequent meetings, they will adjudicate the case of the alleged comments made by the President of Berekum Arsenals, Yakubu Moro which has been deemed as a breach of Article 11(2)(a), (b) and (d)  and Article 22(2) and (3) of the GFA Disciplinary Code (2019).
