GHANA- John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) today launches door-to-door campaign in anticipation of winning the 2020 general election.
The former President asserted that the door-to-door campaign is the largest and the most effective in Ghana’s history.
According to Mahama, the campaign is meant to touch every soul, heal every wound, restore dignity and the truth.
He also entreats all his compatriots across the various branches and constituencies to spread his message across.
Mr Mahama on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, inaugurated the campaign team for the NDC for the 2020 general elections. The 26-member team made of seven executives and 19 other members is headed by the National Campaign Manager, Prof Alabi and deputised by Alex Segbefia and Peter Boamah Otokunor.
A Facebook user, Nicholas Tettey commented, “Should you win, you must continue this laudable door to door activity. Bringing governance to the doorsteps of people. Being Human. I DARE YOU! Godspeed.”
Another Facebook user Beniako Bismark wrote, “Herrr, the quest for power can make someone humble paa oo. Enti Mahama paa nie?.The man who said that even if it will cost him his seat, he will never restore teacher trainee and nurses allowances no, the one who said it should take only past presidents to criticize him no?The one who said Ghanaians have short term memories no. See how humble he is.”
