According to Omgvoice.com, the long-time secret was made public by Lawyer William Bubsey, who is currently representing Johnson in his 52-count federal indictment for allegedly committing KSh 2.3 billion insurance fraud.

Along with another doctor, Nader Paksima, Johnson successfully operated and saved the life of 50 Cent, who was 27 years old at the time.

In 2010, Johnson led a team of highly-trained physicians and nurses to perform the first open-heart surgery in the US Virgin Islands on a female patient. The rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, was reportedly shot in the hand, arm, hip, both legs, chest and left cheek.

Both 50’s legs were broken in multiple places and in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey, he said that he felt no pain while being shot. “It does not hurt as much as people imagine it hurts, because of the adrenaline. But it hurts after,” he said.

He added that the experience would either leave one fearful or insensitive but to him, he got tired of being afraid and decided to be aggressive which helped in his recovery. “Going through that experience, when you get hurt that bad either your fear consumes you or you become a bit insensitive, there was a point where I was afraid and in the recovery process, I got tired of being afraid.
