Artiste Manager of the popular dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, Bulldog, said his artiste is bigger the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. “Shata Wale is bigger than the President in terms of popularity”.
According to him, the ability of Shatta Wale to draw crowd based on his charisma and appeal to the public gives him the edge over the president who is arguably the most popular figure in Ghana.
Days ago, Shatta Wale was at Hitz FM when a superfan who happens to be a minivan (trotro) driver trooped into the studios to gush about his idol.
Following what many have described as touching as the super fan nearly brought Shatta Wale to tears, the artiste stormed Circle on foot and pulled a massive crowd.
Bulldog added that Shatta Wale did not deliberately decide to walk through Circle to test the widespread of his brand or popularity but what happened is a testament to the fact that his artiste is the biggest public figure in Ghana.
According to Bulldog, Shatta Wale is too big that he would steal the show if it were the President holding a rally at Circle in Accra. “If the President was having a rally today, everyone would have left to meet Shatta Wale”.
“No one has what Shatta Wale has before they became president or politicians”, he added.
The artiste manager explained that politicians are supposed to make our lives better but they go ahead to make it worse.
