Queen Elizabeth II who has been in close contact and exposed to people confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19 raises concern about her health. The Buckingham Palace, confirmed that the Queen held a face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on March 11.

Apart from having contact with Boris Johnson, www.express.co.uk states that a royal worker who has been in contact recently with the Queen has tested positive for coronavirus. “The footman may have come into contact with the Queen while he had the coronavirus as duties include walking her dogs, handing her letters and taking her drinks and meals. The member of staff is currently in self-isolation to try and recover from the deadly virus.”

The palace assured the public that she remains in good and stable health though she has shown mild symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

Prince Charles, who is the heir to the British throne had also tested positive for the coronavirus after showing mild symptoms and is self-isolating in Scotland.

The Prince of Wales, who last met the Queen on March 12, continues to work at his desk in his Scottish residence, Birkhall, as he is only suffering from mild symptoms.

The Queen, who left Buckingham Palace on March 19, looks set to spend the next few weeks of self-isolation at Windsor Castle with Prince Philip as she recovers from the virus.

According to Edge Health, a UK health care data analysis company, at least 1.6m people could be infected with coronavirus in England. Coronavirus death toll in the UK has risen by 209 in 24 hours from 1,019 to 1,228. A total of 127,737 people have now been tested for coronavirus, with 19,522 positive results.
