Didier Drogba: Africa isn’t a testing lab for COVID-19 and African people are not human guinea pigs!

Didier Drogba has taken a strong stand against the testing of COVID-19 vaccines on Africans.
This was in protest against racist and unfortunate suggestions made by two French doctors, Dr Jean-Paul Mira and Dr Camille Lochton on a French TV channel LCI that COVID-19 vaccines be used on Africans first.

“If I can be provocative, shouldn’t we be doing this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation? A bit like it is done elsewhere for some studies on AIDS. In prostitutes, we try things because we know that they are highly exposed and that they do not protect themselves.”

The statement by Dr Mira, also reveals that vaccine trials on AIDS patients were first carried out on Africans as he is quoted, “medical trial for a COVID-19 vaccine should be carried out in Africa as it had been done in studies relating to Aids:”

According to Drogba, African leaders have a responsibility to protect their populations from those horrendous conspiracies. He added, “May God protect us!”

Drogba and other Africans took to Twitter to establish the fact that the vaccine trial will only make African people be used as human guinea pigs!

Former Cameroonian football legend, Samuel Eto’o also called the doctors “assassins”.

He cautioned that Africa isn’t a testing lab and find the statement made by two French doctors on television vividly demeaning, false and deeply racist. He wrote, “It is totally inconceivable we keep on cautioning this. Africa isn’t a testing lab. I would like to vividly denounce those demeaning, false and most of all deeply racists words. Helps us save Africa with the current ongoing COVID 19 and flatten the curve.”
