GHANA- #FixTheCountry activist, Kaaka Anyass Ibrahim, also known as Macho Kaka is reported dead at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after being attack by mobs at 1:30 am in Ejura in the Ashanti Region.

Macho Kaka, a member of #FixTheCountry movement passed this afternoon when he was assaulted and beaten to the pulp with clubs and stones on June 25 as a picture of him shows a bloody head bandage.

He sustained a fractured skull and blood clots due to the attack confirmed through an x-ray examination at the Ejura Sekyeredumase District Hospital. The activist lost his life after being rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for immediate surgery.

Wakas, brother of Macho Kaka spoke to 3news.com and demanded justice and want the murderers punished. “Our brother did not do anything to anyone. He was only expressing his views, and so those who are responsible for the attack must be found and made sure they pay for their action”, Wakas said.

Some Ghanaians cannot comprehend the unfortunate event and reflect on why some angry Ghanaians would attack young activist demanding development, which is their fundamental human right.

The main organizer of the #FixTheCountry movement, Kalyjay, revealed that he has been threatened several times.

He stated that the murder of Macho Kaka is a hindrance to our democracy.

He wrote, “The police must arrest all those who attacked #RIPMachoKaaka because he was being a citizen and not a spectator by wanting to #FixTheCountry and seeking for #WeGoDemonstrate. Why on earth must the same Ghana Youth mob him. This is ludicrous to our democracy.

My superior today advised me after I showed him the threats I receive lately. Why would you threaten for fighting for my rights? I cry anytime my patients aren’t able to afford their hospital bills because they are suffering. If I speak for them U will send me threats, why?

Why won’t you do the right thing for mother Ghana for us to praise you? Instead, you pay people to threaten me. Why has Ghana become a despotism and nepotist with reckless-spending, % corrupt, theft and fraudulent system? All our institutions have been stifled and deadened.

No one can naturally create one strand of hair but we lynch or assault people, especially those fighting for their own right. The human anatomy is a complex system and every single cell is as important as the other #StopBeingABully and #FixTheCountryNow #WeGoDemonstrate soon.”
