Funny Face sued $53,000 for allegedly defrauding by false pretense

Mary Ama Boansi, a Ghanaian residing in the United States of America has taken legal action against Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, professionally known as Funny Face. 

The comedian is being sued at the Accra High Court for an amount of $53,105.53. According to the plaintiff, Funny Face received the amount with the promise of marrying. However, he failed to pay back when the relationship failed.

According to the Plaintiff, the amount was financial support for Funny Face during their romantic relationship.

She prays the court to order the comedian to pay interest on the $53,105.53, cost including legal fees and a declaration of his actions as defrauding by “false pretenses.

Funny Face, also known as SwagOn-Papa is a Ghanaian comedian and known for his role in TV3 Ghana‘s sitcom Chorkor Trotro.
