The Government of Ghana has this morning announced to the nation that the number of coronavirus cases has now reached 52.
The news was confirmed in a press conference by Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Information Minister and officials of the Ministry of Health as a form of regular updates on coronavirus to the citizens.
Ghana has recorded the second Covid-19 death and three new confirmed cases on Monday.
Ghanaians are calling on the government to implement the drastic measures of lockdown to ensure citizens stay at home for at least two to three weeks in order to avoid the spread of the coronavirus and potential escalation.
Also, the Government has announced that they are working on establishing 15 testing centres to ensure mass testing of coronavirus especially for citizens who feel or are exposed to people who were infected.
