GHANA- Wednesday, August 5, 2020/– Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter, Kwame Ametepee Tsikata popularly known as M.anifest has praised Shatta Wale as the man of the moment.
The artiste has worked with musicians like Obrafour, Simi, Sarkodie, Burna Boy, Strongman, Kwesi Arthur, kelvynboy, Sarkodie, Mi Casa, Worlasi and would love to work with other legendary artistes like Akosua Agyapong.
He said this on Citi TV’s Face to Face with Umaru Sanda Amadu yesterday when he was asked who his favorite Dancehall artiste is in Ghana.
” I have a lot of respect for all the top dancehall artiste. I like Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale but they both have their different strengths.” He explained
“Stonebwoy is very melodic and Shatta Wale has certain genes required and he is the man of the moment. He inspired the music industry and Ghanaians through Beyonce and Shatta Wale’s collaboration. ” We should know that we to are somebody and there is way much more to do because it’s a good thing for Shatta Wale and Beyonce because she also benefitted.”
According to M.anifest, Beyonce didn’t favor Shatta Wale by featuring him on her song but she knew the value and impact of the song. ” Monkeys plays by its size “.
“Mutual respect among artistes means that you think this thing you’re doing works. And the song speaks for its self” He explained.
He ended by explaining the impact of Shatta’s and Beyonce’s collaboration on the music industry in Ghana. ” Shatta Wale and Beyonce collaboration means a lot to the music industry and opportunity for the creatives who worked on the video. Because it shows you can be yourself.
