That Ghanaians abroad are defying the odds to raise the flag of Ghana higher is no news and a lady called Tina Asante becomes the first Ghanaian female officer to have joined the Australian Police Force.
Her achievement which was shared in a Face book post by a close relative, read “Mother Ghana is Proud of you. First Female Police Officer in the Australian Police Force.”

This post was preceded by a first one, which similarly read “First Ghanaian female Police Officer in Australian Police Force. Tina Asabere aka Mother. Thanks for making us proud.”
This information shared by a close relative of Miss Asante was accompanied by pictures of her graduation with family and friends.
