A while back, news broke out that Queen Haizel was dead. Apparently, she was in Barbados, the island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies having fun.
According to reports, the singer died on June 16, 2020 through a road accident.
The ‘Yetwem’ hitmaker showed up at her home two months after the world had heard of her sudden demise with of her whereabout.
Upon her return, she made a stop at Zylofon 102.1 Fm where she revealed that she came to Ghana from the Caribbean islands by bus to share her experience.
She made this revelation during an interview with Sammy Gyamfi on Zylofon F.
” I travelled from Barbados to Ghana through bus. It wasn’t one bus. I bordered different buses,” she explained.
The Afrobeat singer claimed she doesn’t remember the route she used but that she remembers passing through Jamaica.
She stated that she went with a man who made it impossible for her to inform her family about her travelling which was intended to improve her brand in the music industry.
” A big man I trust and saw as a father figure sponsored my trip to Dubai. He brought my document after taking my particulars. I wanted to tell my people but he refused and insisted it was just a three-days holiday,” she explained.
Her trip to Dubai took a wrong turn which landed them in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Unfortunately for her, the coronavirus pandemic caused a closure of borders which prevented her from returning home.
