In a statement released by the General Secretary of the NDC Johnson Aseidu Nketiah, it was disclosed that the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC moved for the manifesto launch to be postponed for the National Executive Committee and Council of Elders to approve the policy principles and strategies promised in the manifesto.

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu accused the NDC at its manifesto launch in Cape Coast on Saturday for failing to come out with their manifesto despite being in opposition because they are waiting to steal their ideas.

According to John Boadu “ it is worth pointing out that our opponents announced to the world some two or so months ago that their manifesto was ready and they have presented it to their party leadership yet they have still not been able to launch it for the people of this country to see what is in it. Obliviously they are waiting for us to launch our manifesto so they copy our ideas as usual”
