GHANA- Self-proclaimed spiritualist and fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedu, also known as Nana Agradaa has been arrested as part of efforts by security agencies to clamp down on the activities of spiritualists in the country.
Ghanaians called for the arrest of such spiritualists who claimed to master the art of doubling money thereby defrauding innocent citizens and the closure of their TV stations.
This was after the killing of a 10-year-old boy in Kasoa by two teenagers who watch a spiritualist on TV. The said spiritualist claimed she can double the money and requested human parts and GHS5000 from the boys. The boys, unfortunately, targeted Ismael, their friend and murdered him but were arrested.
Nana Agradaa’s two television stations, Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV have also been shut down by state security with equipment and other assets seized.
Nana Agradaa is reported to have swindled a number of her innocent people as she advertised the ‘Sika Gari’ ritual concept, especially on her TV stations all based in Kasoa in the Central Region.
