GHANA- Wednesday, July 29, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/– In accordance with developing the love of football in the country, Intercity STC Coaches Limited has reached a consensus with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to reduce cost of transport for all referees.
The Intercity STC has agreed to a 50% reduction of transport fares for referees for the upcoming football season.
This was decided on by Executives of the GFA, led by President Kurt E.S Okraku, Executive Council member Nana Sarfo Oduro and Referees Manager Alex Kotey on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in a meeting with Intercity STC Coaches Limited who were represented by Managing Director, Hon. Nana Akomea, Deputy Managing Director (Operations), Kwabena Sintim-Aboagye and other senior management members.
The meeting was held to discuss support for referees in the upcoming Premier League, National Division One League and the Women’s Premier League
The Managing Director Hon. Nana Akomea said that the reduction was towards the development of Ghanaian football.
“This is our contribution towards the development of football in our country,” she said.
“Bring back the love” is a part of President Kurt E.S Okraku’s promise to increase the love of Ghanaian football.
