ACCRA, Ghana – Friday, May 22, 2020,/ https://africanpostonline.com/—The First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo has used her foundation, Rebecca Foundation to support business and trades in Ghana. The First Lady’s foundation has collaborated with CBI Ghana Limited in donating one thousand (1000 )bags of Cement to the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association.

The donation made by the Press Aide to the First Lady, Mr Richard Darko, and the Managing Director for CBI Ghana Limited, Frederick Albrecht would enable the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association to build a Hairdressing school at Ashalaja Denhyira in the Greater Accra Region.

According to the First Lady, the donation was in response to a humble appeal made by the Hairdressers and Beauticians Association to the Executive Director of the Rebecca Foundation, Mrs Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo during the 10th Annual Salon Academy, 2020 in January.

The Rebecca Foundation aim to deliver excellence and impact positively on the lives of Ghanaians especially women and children. 

The foundation was established in January 2017 to complements the efforts of government by supporting and promoting initiatives that improve the economic status of women; enhancing literacy and learning skills in children; improving environmental health and sanitation by greening public spaces.
