‘’The Youth Dare Me To Bring A Gun And Stop Them If I can’ - Nana Ansah Kwao On Population Growth

Radio host and chief of Akwamu-Adumasa, Nana Ansah Kwao has said that if politics is wrong, it’s difficult to get everything else right. He expressed the importance of population in every country’s development, “Population should be the first thing on any manifesto.”

In an interview on the KSM Show with Kwaku Smith-Mintah, he said, “what nation has ever been built on a free culture? No nation is built freely”.

He created a scenario saying that a person with a crate of 24 minerals invites more people than that number to a party. This leads to the host’s inability to serve everyone.

He explained that even politicians are scared to talk about family planning for fear of losing votes, despite the fact it will help control population growth in the country.

He said that he expresses his interest in population-growth, but he receives backlash when he does. “The youth I am trying to help turn around and insult me, daring me to bring a gun and stop them I can.”
