Thieves robbed Nima Police Station in Accra near the President's house raises security questions

ACCRA, Ghana – Thursday, June 18, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/—Thieves on Thursday dawn robbed Nima Police Station in Accra making away items including officers shirts, television, laptops, printers and other stationery.

A picture taken at the police station indicates that the thieves broke into the room through the window. The question many are asking is, where were the security men at the station?

The news came as a shock to many who believe it is beyond understanding since the Station is directly opposite the President’s house, Nana Akufo-Addo with heavy security presence.

Some believe thieves robbing a police station shows the lack of fear for the police. Others think the situation indicates that security around the police station and the President’s house is compromised and the safety of the President is questionable.

Nima Police Station in Accra is located at Ring Road Central and is one of the most powerful Police Stations in Ghana which most Ghanaians dread.
