The voice memo on iOS is excellent to tweet, which increases the length of communicating a message on Twitter as compared to the limited 280 words.
This particular voice tweet lasts for 140 seconds long and automatically restart to create a thread.
“Sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation. So starting today, we’re testing a new feature that will add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter — your very own voice,” Twitter’s Maya Patterson and Rémy Bourgoin said.
Nevertheless, this new voice memo feature works on iOS leaving behind android. Twitter users have been protesting the discrimination with the hashtag #Androidlivesmatter.
To make a voice memo, one has to open twitter compose window to locate to a new purple frequency icon. Tap on the purple icon to load a new window which asks, “What’s happening, hit record”.
“Your current profile photo will be added as a static image on your audio attachment and will not refresh if you update your profile photo,” Twitter says.
This voice audio brings a new feeling of human touch and hearing the voice of your crush, mentor, celebrity or secret admirer.
