President Akufo-Addo and the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo; the Vice President Dr Bawumia and his wife this morning paid their last respect to the late Ex-President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings as the officially funeral activities continue.
The general public has been granted access to file past the mortal remain of the late former President today at the Accra International conference centre to pay their last respect to him.
The funeral rites of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings started from January 24.
Rawlings, a Pan-Africanist whose voice and ideals of good leadership resonate across Africa and abroad and recognized as a legend who sacrificed to establish democracy in Ghana through a revolution.
Rawlings, 73-years old, died in November 2020, but the cause of death has not been revealed.
