Jumia as playing a key role in the prevention of covid-19 is giving out free reusable face mask to Ghanaians who order anything. According to Jumia, all one has to do is add a face mask to their order in the cart for free.
COVID-19 spreads mainly from person to person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks as asserted by the world health organization WHO.
These droplets enter a person’s mouth or nose and can be inhaled into the lungs. The droplets are stated to have the capability of usually travelling around 6 feet, that is about two arms lengths.
It is advisable to ensure that before you wear your face mask, clean hands with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Some people use cloth masks which is inexpensive and easily accessible.
Whatever it is, just ensure that you wear a mask, whether cloths mask or surgical mask to prevent the spread of covid-19.
