SENEGAL- Senegalese professional footballer and Liverpool striker Sadio Mane, known for his charity work donated $693,000 for the construction of a hospital in Bambali in Senegal where he comes from.

The hospital if constructed will be the first hospital in Bambali.

A twit by the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall states, “The footballer Sadio Mané was received this afternoon by the President 

@Macky_Sall The Liverpool striker presented the Head of State with an ambitious project to build a hospital in Bambali and counts on the support of the State for medical personnel.

He also wrote, “Very honoured by the audience that the Head of State, His Excellency @Macky_Sall granted me. A good moment of exchanges on football but also on our social projects. #Sénégal for Ever.”

In 2019, Sadio Mané, regarded as one of the best players in the world donated about $350,000 for the construction of a school in Bambali. 

Sadio Mané was awarded the Best FIFA Men’s Player after ranking fifth in 2019 and fourth in 2020.
