GHANA- Friday, August 7, 2020/– Football club Asante Kotoko has finally appointed football administrator Nana Yaw Amponsah as Chief Executive Officer of the club.
Nana Yaw Amponsah who was an aspirant in last year’s Ghana Football Association election holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ghana and a Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practices from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.
He was the Chairman of Division One Club, Phar Rangers FC and also a licensed players’ agent from 2008 to 2018. He is also the Director of Football for Phar Partnerships.
He competed for CEO with former Bayern Munich player Sammy Kuffour and GFA EXCo member, Frederick Acheampong.
Nana Yaw Amponsah would be CEO for the club for the next three years.
He was unveiled in a small ceremony, due to COVID-19 protocols, in Kumasi today.
He is expected to steer the affairs of the club with the 12 member Board of Directors of the club led by Dr Kwame Kyei.
Following his new appointed, fans and supporters of the club expect him to lift the face of one of the most indigenous clubs in Ghana.
