Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have increased to 313 with one more death making total death of 6 confirmed by the Ghana Health Service.
New development to the COVID-19 issues in Ghana is a case recorded in the Central Region. Greater Accra Region records 274 cases, Ashanti Region with 25 cases, Northern Region records 10, Upper West Region, Eastern Region and Upper East Region all have 1 case each.
Additionally, there is a suspected case recorded in Kpando Health Centre in the Volta Region on 7th April about 4:30 pm and is yet to be confirmed after testing. The patient is said to be in isolation and doing well.
The Medical Director at MMCH in Kpando, Dr Gyamfi, has urged the people to keep calm and adhere strictly to IPC measures and practice social distancing at all times.
