ACCRA, Ghana – Thursday, June 4, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/—The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) SRC has announced to its student’s body that final year students can continue to continue academic work online despite the easing of restrictions as announced by the president Nana Akufo Addo.
However, the students were advised to stick with their online assessment and assignments.
Students were excited about the news and marked it as a positive decision from KNUST Management and in the best interest of students as it would help stop the spread of covid-19.
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo on his 10th nationwide address to Ghanaians on 31st May 2020, eases lockdown and announced that school reopens for all final year students in the country starting from 15th June.
He, however, stated that all classes for university students must be half the class size.
On 22nd June, final year Senior Secondary School students will also start their classes with 25 students per class.
Final year JSS 3 students are to reopen on the 29th also with a limited number of 30 in a class.
