Fire outbreak in a hospital in Egypt kills seven covid-19 patients

ACCRA, Ghana – Monday, June 29, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/—Fire outbreak in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, Egypt claimed the lives of seven covid-19 patients according to local media.

The patients suffocated to death in an isolation hospital while receiving treatment while reports claimed seven staff from the administration department were injured.

The cause of the fire outbreak was traced to a short circuit.
Meanwhile, Lead Attorney in El-Montaza Prosecution Ashraf el-Maghraby ordered investigations into the incident to detect the cause of the fire.

Egypt has confirmed 65,188 covid-19 cases,17,539 recovered and 2,789 deaths.
