The 29-year-old Colombian, James Rodriguez has been spotted in Liverpool ahead of the completion of his transfer to the English side, Everton. This three-year deal will see Rodriguez link with Carlo Ancelotti for the third time in his career. The former Bayern Munich star has had very little playtime under the management of Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid. He only made 8 appearances for the team’s La Liga campaign last season.

The Officials of Everton are set to pay around £20 million to bring the Attacking Midfielder to Goodison Park; a transfer to be announced in the coming hours. Rodriguez’s arrival to the side will be as glamorous and a great deal of help to the attacking aspect of the team. Ancelotti has struck a good relationship with James during their time together at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. And so, the fans Everton will be hoping that their union will prove fruitful and productive for the team.

This signing will make James the second player to be acquired by Everton this summer after the completion of the transfer of Napoli’s midfielder, Allan. Rodriguez arrived last week and has expressed how excited he is to be working with Ancelotti again.

“It is a real pleasure to sign for Everton. I am immensely happy to be here”, he said to Everton’s Website. “I hope, like I have done in my entire career, I contribute with my performances together with my team-mates and that I put in some great games, great performances and win important things”.

“It is a club with a rich history in the Premier League, has real ambition and then there is Professor Ancelotti. He has done everything possible to bring me here”. “It is the size of the club and the name of the coach which means you don’t think twice about coming to Everton”.
