Now more than ever, success stories of men and women across the African continent who braced storms and became powerful people across Europe are being told. Thinking about African fashion got us to write about the great talent Kwame Koranteng, the Head Designer for BESPOKE TAILORING a brand that is all about Haute Couture for men and women. He is also a multi award-winning bespoke tailor and a stylist, fashion consultant, and entrepreneur.

Kwame started out in his teens where he would make various sketches of traditional clothing and western designs. He lived in Ghana and went through technical and engineering studies. His love for tailoring reached its peak when he went to Britain and lived in Saville Row on a visit. There he got inspired by the prestigious tailors all over the place.

When he had the opportunity to migrate back to Britain he enrolled in a prestigious college on the outskirts of Bloomsbury for his education where he studied fashion design and tailoring.

Moving into the corporate industry, he spent several years designing for George Clothing Line before finally setting up his own couture brand under the acronym KGTKKT which was a nickname his peers had given him for his tailoring skills. With a passion to do more and striving to be on top whilst envisioning his brand as a household name he left no stone unturned and this feat has resulted in the current brand name Bespoke Tailoring.
