Madagascar's President Andry Rajoelina reports the first coronavirus case

Madagascar confirmed its first cases of coronavirus today Friday 20 March 2020.

The unfortunate news was confirmed by the president in a televised statement. According to President Andry Rajoelina, the three cases of coronavirus were confirmed by the Institut Pasteur de Madagascar.

The Island nation, Madagascar has already taken some drastic measures like halting all international flights to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
