Memphis Depay decided to thrill Instagram with beautiful pictures of himself in self-isolation with a big cat pet popularly known as a liger. 

Lions are becoming a common pet for many affluent people. The football star decided to join millionaires and billionaires having lions and ligers as pets at home. 

He posed with his big cat, a hybrid of a lion and tiger, known as Liger.

The Lyon Star shows off his big lion tattoo on his back to the big cat captured in a beautiful picture. He captions the picture: “What happens when a liger hangs out with a Lion?

The beautiful picture did not escape animal right activist and sympathisers who believe that big cats are meant to be in their natural habitats.

He is a Dutch professional footballer and a music artist who plays forward and captains the French club, Lyon and plays for the Netherlands national team.  

Memphis was born in 1994 to a Ghanaian father, Dennis Depay, and a Dutch mother, Cora Schensema in Holland.

Memphis releases his single, “AKWAABA” in collaboration with musical artists, Winne and Nana Fofieand producer Rass King. The Lyon star has recently announced his new song “For A Week” on his Instagram page.

The international football star regularly visits his hometown Ghana to do charity work. One of his charity works is supporting the School for the Deaf and dump. He displayed pictures of himself wearing their uniform, sitting in the classroom with them and sleeping in a hostel.
