“What the Ministry has done is a lot because according to public health, the first thing you need to do when there is a reported case is to disinfect to be able to deactivate the virus. Each student and staff must also take his or her own responsibility”.

The Accra Girls SHS was the first SHS to record a case when the government relaxed its measures to allow final year students to complete their final exams. The school still has the most recorded cases in one SHS.

It however isn’t the only SHS to record a case as 10 students were revealed today by the Regional Director of Health Services in a school in the Ahafo region.
