Ghanaian journalist and the managing editor at the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr says he gets sick with some statements made by politicians and if care is not taken we will be killed with their inconsistency.

Contributing to a panel discussion yesterday, the journalist stated that, whenever they are speaking in the public which includes himself, everyone and Dr Bawumia, the least expected from them is consistency. “All of us, when we in the public space the least people expect from us is consistency”.

He said that statements made by the Vice President, Dr Bawumia are not consistent. “Unfortunately, I have not seen that consistency reflected in his statement”.

The National Democratic Congress’s manifesto was seen as empty during their launch. But the same empty manifesto is seen to be copied. How possible?

Kwesi Pratt said “We were told that the NDC’s manifesto was empty. It’s either something or it’s nothing.”

He added that it cannot be something and nothing at the same time. Consistency is lost in that analysis. According to him, the NDC’s manifesto was seen as unrealistic and ornamental. ” If something is better than the other, there can not be one and the same.”

This clearly explains how a student reports a colleague for copying but surprising his or her answer sheet is blank.

The journalist said, “how can industrialisation be copied while it existed during Nkrumah government.”

Kwesi Pratt added that the CPP and Nkrumah government brought free education. “In this Fourth Republican compensation, the first political party which came up with the idea of free education was the Convention People’s Party.”

He explained that it was the PPP who first came up with a corseted program for free education. ” This followed by the Progressive People’s Party who came up with the idea if free secondary education.”

With all these facts, how can free SHS project be copied while it’s already a copy project?
