Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale Cautions Ghanaian Youth To abstain From Politics

GHANA- Thursday, August 6, 2020/– Two of Ghana’s music giants, Shatta wale and Stonebwoy are cautioning the youth not to allow themselves to be used for anything that will plunge the country into chaos.

Ahead of the 2020 polls, the celebrated musicians further appealed to politial leaders to be mindful  of their utterances and their actions to prevent any form of war or deaths in the country.

Stonebwoy in an interview at Asaase Radio said, “This another election year and peace is the way to go and I think is not the wish of any political party or leaders to plunge the country into war or disaster. Because if you do that the who are you going to rule over or provide the good thing you promised”.

He added by pleading with the youth not to involve their selves in anything that will cost their lives or will paint the country black. ” I plead with the youth not to involve in anything that will bring death or bad name to the country “.

Stonebwoy advised all Ghanaians to go and register and get their Voter’s, Identification Card. Because that will give them the power to elect their leader. “It’s a few days to end registration if you do not register, how would you be able to vote or choose who you wish to be your President? This is our civic responsibility to go out and register and vote peacefully. Because we all wish for a better Ghana”.

During the same interview, Shatta Wale approved to all that was said by Stonebwoy with a very nice word which tells how united they are.” My brother has said enough. It’s time to cast our vote and choose who you want to rule you”.

He further said, one love is all we need as Ghanaians and we shouldn’t hate ourselves.”Whether NPP or NDC doesn’t mean we should hate ourselves”.

In his last words, he believes strongly that there will be no violence in Ghana till the end of the world. “I know there will be no war in Ghana till Jesus Christ and Kwame Nkrumah comes”.

Head of Marketing, Communications, Events, and Promotions at Asaase Broadcasting Company Madam Naomi Nelson-Barnes, in her remarks, said: “I have to admit the response has been even bigger than we anticipated.

“This event will be the first of its kind and we are really excited to see how it all turns out.”

Organisers are expected to announce the date for the virtual concert in the coming days.
