ACCRA, Ghana – Saturday, May 16, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/–The nursing and midwifery council in a statement released disassociated itself from a video trending on social media in which an alleged nurse was tweaking.
The Council has condemned the act they deemed sexually explicit and against their professional conduct. The council is yet to identify the purported nurse.
The Council has referred the matter to the Intelligence and Disciplinary Department for disciplinary actions against the purported nurse should she be identified.
The Council has also asked the general public for assistance to identify the ‘Nurse’ in the said video and also respectfully urge people to courageously report unprofessional conducts.
The Council has also cautioned all Nurses to uphold the reputation of the nursing profession and desist from abusing social media in an unprofessional manner against the ethical practice of nursing.
