Fire has engulfed the Juaben Serwaa Market in Koforidua in the Eastern Regional.
The incident which happened at dawn on Wednesday, July 21, 2020 left seven shops completely burnt.
Though the cause of the fire is still unknown, the fire service arrived at the presence of the fire to quench it.
Traders rushed to the scene to try to save some of their wares when news of the fire broke.
The Juaben Serwaa Market is the second largest and populated market centre in the New Juaben South Municipality.
