Accra, Ghana- Tuesday, July 7, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/ The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah in a press conference this morning, 7th July 2020 has disclosed that the Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo tests positive for COVID-19.
The President, Nana Akufo Addo has self- isolated after a person in his close circle is tested positive for covid-19.
“The President will during this precautionary self-isolation period, be working from the Presidential Villa at the Jubilee House, Accra”, per the statement released to the public.
Ghana has confirmed 21,077 covid-19 cases, recoveries at 16,070 and 129 deaths according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has revealed Ghana is one of the countries in Africa with increasing Covid-19 and declared the country a hot spot.
