ACCRA, Ghana – Tuesday, June 16, 2020/ https://africanpostonline.com/—#BreakTheSilence on twitter is not only a campaign against rape but also reveals issues and the realities of rape concerning the mentality of an individual and how they understand matters concerning rape.
Many victims were unable to speak out and report cases but now finds the courage to do so.
#BreakTheSilence encourages people to write about their ordeals to inspire others to speak out. Some give reasons why some men or women rape and others justify rape based on the dressing.
Interestingly, some people are confused as to whether their ordeals can be said to be rape. Some men also reveal how they were raped, and why men must be involved in the campaign against rape.
Rape issues have been a hot topic in recent times as many women and men are finding the courage to speak out and ignore the stigmatization that comes with addressing the issue.
Defilement has also been on the increase. These prompts many people to address the subject of rape and dressing, which many rapists use to justify their actions.
In totality, rape is a crime as a rapist has a rape mentality. Rape topics need to be tackled, and everyone gets educated about rape.
