Samuel Mensah, a promising young Ghanaian baker and entrepreneur dies of Covid in the U.K.
Samuel, a rapper with stage name Xploder was also the CEO of Uncle John’s Bakery in the U.K. He was featured in Forbes as one of 30 black owned businesses to support in 2021 , The Guardian, Time-out London, Vice, Facebook Business, lBC, Seasoned Bf amongst others.
Samuel signed a deal with an Italian distributor to supply his bakeries to the whole of Italy.
The promising young entrepreneur who inspired many also celebrated the addition of a wine business to his bakery.
He wrote, “happy to announce my newest venture Solduke wine. Currently available in Italy, Ghana and U.K.”
His bakery supplies bread to NHS workers during the Covid pandemic. Uncle John’s bakery celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020.
His sad demise came as a shock to many who couldn’t believe the unfortunate news.
An Instagram user @createdbymrmoe wrote, “Naaaah, no way. This is the hardest pill to swallow. My brother rest well.”
Another fan @Jacquelinewabara_pr wrote, “I’m shocked and saddened. RIP Sam, your legacy will continue to inspire a whole generation.”
